Day 3 of a 2 weeks stay in hospital with Chloe and I've just informed the consultant that the survey on the new house has rising damp.
I was hoping she would say it's a low risk for Chloe, but it was the opposite. Now James and I are frantically searching how to treat it..

Trying new things, doing a little of a lot but not a lot of anything - it's time for a change..

I mean, there was the large garden bed I made out of untreated wood, getting a border collie when we don't have sheep, and then there was the chickens...
23th Sep 2023 Well I've had a go at a lot of homestead type things, but I'm just not producing a lot of anything.
This is because I try to keep a lot of different things on the go and we currently just don't have the space. Hopefully thats about to change...
1st Oct 2023 So I can't deny it, yes Covid played a part - but I'm not giving it all the credit. I've always had 'prepper' urges, I'm super independent and hate asking for help.
The idea of not having to rely on ANYONE to survive has always excited me and I had a litte stash of goods way before Covid..
